The Light Of The World by Ernest Hemingway— Review

“The Light Of The World” by Ernest Hemingway is a short story that critics consider to be the most pessimistic and ruthless of all that Hemingway works.

The time of action is the Great Depression. The writer managed to fully convey the hopelessness of that time.

The heroes of this story are more easily called antiheroes. Life, love, friendship - all this, according to Hemingway, is not worth a penny in difficult times.
