The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allan Poe - Review
The story “The Cask of Amontillado” by Edgar Allan Poe utilizes a not so widely-known word Amontillado. It is a wine that has a nutty flavor. The protagonist-narrator meets Fortunato. And he keeps the idea of revenge in his head. He decided to punish a friend. They go into the catacombs.
Everything here is frightening: skeletons, cobwebs, bones, and cellars. There is no way Fortunato wants to return. It all ended tragically.
