Green Business in the Internet

Let's pretend that we start creating social network dedicated to Green Business. The title or address in the Internet would be green business.com. On this site users would find (mistake in word order Users would find on this site) information about green business projects like green roof, solar panels on the roof etc.

First of all it is necessary to fill the site with (mistake in preposition by) information about green products and technologies. As an opposite example the site would include pictures showing what the nature could be without nature protecting measures. Dried land, polluted air, no animals.

The entrepreneurs would publish on the site the information about their shops, technologies etc. A part of the site would be dedicated to law regulation, to the tax benefits for the green business. It should (mistake in using be) think about children and create a special section for them with cartoons, online games like "to grow a tree", "to clean the city" and so on.

PS: I checked the domain name GREENBUSINESS.COM . It is occupied by GODADDY.COM, LLC. I’m probably (mistake in word order Probably I'm) not the first person who thought about the site for green business.

TEACHER'S NOTE
Article (AR). Remember to select the correct article to go with the tone and structure of the sentence and story. Pay attention to what article should be used. We use ‘an’ before a word starting with the vowels 'A, E. I. O. U' and a before consonants. You said 'to grow tree' rather say ‘to grow a tree’ Word Order (WO) Remember to use the correct sentence structure when describing information. Pay attention to the order that you are writing in. You said 'Users would find on this site information' rather say 'On this site users would find information'

CSR (Corporate Social Responsiibility). Writing Exercise With englishlive.ef.com

Task:
Write a few paragraphs about corporate social responsibility. Do you believe companies have a responsibility to society? Or do you think a company's only responsibility is to its shareholders? Give examples of CSR that you are familiar with.

CSR stands for Corporate Social Responsibility. Let's think about reasons why companies do it.

Acknowledging that the main aim of commercial company is a profit, critics of the CSR say that it is a PR-trick for representing image which company actually doesn't have. Obviously that statement is not true because it is a part of a company's strategy for achieving success. Spending money for the social programs and representing them to public is much more effective than just making advertisements.

The company's budget usual includes a number of money for employee’s salaries and for social aims. One of the reasons for spending money is to show that they care for their employees. When people feel concern from their employer, the company receives a good response. They may be united by a common deal and feel satisfaction of their job.

CSR is especially important for enterprise forming  a company’s town. If the company organizes events for the emploee’s children, the parents may receive additional positive energy for working for the company and children would probably decide to work in the future for this company too.

So, if you were an employee of the company which policy includes CSR, would you have preferred increasing your salary or providing a%% new social program for your community? Even your answer is a cash, the company will be generally recognized by society exactly for the new social program.

TEACHER'S NOTE

Remember to use the possessive form "company's" because you are showing a possession of "a company's town" or "company's strategy."

Wonderful Moscow City

Moscow-city is a new district of Moscow. The main difference from other Moscow districts is a height of the buildings. There are a few skyscrapers in this area. The tallest is the Federation Tower. The height of this building is 373 meters from the main entrance to the roof.

I was in this building in the restaurant "Sixty" which is located on the 61st floor of the tower. This is the highest restaurant in Moscow. We celebrated there my friend’s birthday. The staff of the restaurant opened a window for the guests  and we took some photos of the beautiful views of Moscow.
There are a few towers in this area. The main usage of them is business. For instance, all audit companies of Big Four have offices there. The first floor is occupied by very large shop’s centre.

During my weekend trips by bicycle along the Moscow river, I like taking pictures of panoramic views of the Moscow river with Moscow-city district in the background. Look how beautiful it is:

Teacher’s comments:
The noun form is (height= the height of something). 'High' is an adjective, so we say (something is high)

Traits Of A Successful Person (Writing Exercise With Englishtown)

Pushkin.JPG

Topic: Write about the traits and habits of a successful person you admire.

I remember the story which our guide told us when we were on an excursion in The Imperial Lyceum in Tsarskoye Selo near Saint Petersburg  (school) where the most well known Russian poet, Aleksandr Pushkin studied. She said that if pupil demonstrates a success in all disciplines he hardly appears a genius in the future. But if he concentrates on one subject and he shows distinctly better results than in other disciplines it would lead to true success.

Alexander Pushkin didn't pay attention to mathematics and physics but he was passionate about poetry in the school. His talent has been noticed by teachers and this fact inspired him for improving his skills in literature.

This example demonstrates to us how important it is to find one area where our possibilities can be realized.

But it is also necessary to keep basis knowledges in other areas. In case of unpredictable circumstances we could change our occupation.

And general level of culture is also important for people even if it seems not necessary for everyday life. I think a studying of foreign language is a good example for it.

Conclusion:
Be excellent only in one discipline

Comment from teacher Stacey A:
Articles are used to differentiate between things or ideas – usually expressed by nouns. The speaker/writer may be referring to a specific thing or idea, or a general one. A and an are used to refer non-specific nouns.
