Chopin in winter by Stuart Dybek — Review

“Chopin in winter” by Stuart Dybek is the story about a young boy who is listening to the Etudes of Chopin during a Chicago winter season. The main characters are a pregnant neighbor, grandfather and other members of the boy's family.

Stuart Dybek describes the bizarre routine of everyday life in Chicago's Polish enclaves. The story has close connotations with the memories of the author about his childhood.
