The short story "The Japanese Quince" was written by English writer John Galsworthy in 1910. The author described the thoughts and feelings of one person. He works as a clerk and his interactions with other people are restricted. He used to hide his feelings, he is afraid to show them.
Two people enjoy the smell of blossoms of the three named the Japanese Quince. They started a small talk but only for a short time before they became aware of how awkward it can be.
