Let's Complete a Group (Sociological Experiment With Teacher Liudmyla)

The idea of the class on March 26, 2016 in online English school amilingo.com was to pick the members of the crew for the mission to the future space traveling.

The first task was to choose qualities of characters or skills such as:

argumentative

calm

humorous

introvert

rebellious

talkative

and pick up the three people from the list of five:

We chose K.Mi Kyong, Paterno C. and Carolina L. because we didn't want to split the couple (Sabrina and Al) or combine them with another person.

Next unexpected result was that the qualities of characters which we had chosen in the first part of the class didn’t match with characteristics of real chosen people.

Probably the reason is that we tend to use intuition rather than logic.

We had a short discussion during the class on 18/03/2016 in online English school englishdom.com with the teacher Cristopher comparing two ways of English speaking practice:

with native English speakers in large groups or

with not native speakers in small groups.

I put for discussion statement that possibility to speak a lot during the class is the most important for practice.

Someone agreed with it others - not. Presumably it depends on personality.

Benefits Of The Systematic Studying

Studying English online is a very good way of learning (cheaper, more flexible etc) comparing with traditional way of studying in school using study's books. But if online language school uses study's book in the class and gives to students this material before and after class it has much more benefits. 

It refers to the online English school englishdom.com . The class on the 10 February 2016 was designed in that style. The teacher Cari gave material from the student's book before class and we had an excellent discussion about production during the class.

As I mentioned it before, it is unusual practice for online schools and It has lot of benefits (better structured class material, prepared subject for discussion it the class and other advantages of the systematic studying).
